#acl PixelGroup:read, write, admin All:read The Semi-Conductor Tracker (SCT) is after the pixel detector the second innermost sub-detector of the ATLAS experiment. It is a silicon strip detector consisting of 4088 silicon modules arranged to form 4 Barrels and 18 Disks (9 each end). Each (barrel) module hosts a sensor with 1536 strips / channels each. This adds up to a total number of about 6.2 million readout channels.
